Hiking Buddy
Problem Statement_
Multiple hiking phone apps exist that assist in the planning and execution of a hiking trip. In order to discover the weather, trailhead location, hike difficulty and length, parking, available camping, personal mile tracker, and downloadable maps, 3-4 apps are used.
Goal_
Create a comprehensive and easy to use app that assists hikers with all their needs in one place, that also has a personal touch and can keep track of their hiking trends and history.

Deliverables_
A bright green, rich turquoise, sky blue, and deep blue are used throughout the app. These colors work well together and are associated with nature. The bright green grabs people's attention, and contrasts well with the dark blue, which also acts as calming along with the sky blue.
Icons are used throughout the app to quickly indicate information to the viewer, since this app is dense with hiking information. It also makes use of outdoor imagery to entice people to start a hike.
